The function of the instrument is to test Optical Return Loss (ORL) at 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths. It is widely used to test connections and components of telecommunication networks, CATV and WAN's.
In addition, this advanced tester is able to automatically identify the wavelength, and it also contains a dual wavelength stable laser source.
