This TDR test port is used to transmit the electrical pulse energy to determine cable faults like points where there are short circuits, open circuits or high resistance joints. The pulse propagates with the certain speed specified for different cable types. The GAO6130 can find faults (Open/Short Circuit) automatically and show the distance of the fault. Adopts the Time Domain Reflection technology, displaying the time domain reflection picture on the LCD, using the analysis software to analyze the status of the cable.
