How do I place an order?
To place an order, follow the steps below:
- First select the product that you want to order.
- Enter the number in the Quantity box, and then click the 'Add to Cart' button.
- After reviewing all the products in your shopping cart, click the 'CheckOut' button.
- For returning customers, simply fill in your email address and password. For new customers, you will need to fill in the required information, and then click on the 'Submit' button to create your account. (Note: If you are paying by credit card, your billing address must match the address to where your credit card statement is mailed.)
- After your account has been created, click on the 'Continue' button. Based on the address you entered, shipping fees or taxes, if applicable, will be displayed.
- Select your method of payment, either by Credit Card or by Check/Money Order. If using a credit card, fill in your credit card information. A text box is also available for special delivery instructions.
- Read the 'Order Confirmation Page' carefully, and click on the 'Confirm' button to finish the ordering process. Your will receive a confirmation email from our online store immediately. Your item will be shipped out within 2 business days and you will receive it in a few days.
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay by major credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover), wire transfer or check. Wire transfer and check payments must clear before the item is shipped out. For wire transfers, please contact sales@gaotek.com to get our bank information and swift code.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary depend on the product as well as the shipping destination. Please contact our sales department for details. You may also create a new account or log in to your existing account and click the "Checkout" button to see if any shipping costs are required.
When will my order arrive?
Items usually ship out within 2 business days and delivery time is based on method of shipping selected by the customer.
What is your warranty policy?
GAO Tek's warranty is product specific. Please contact us for the warranty information for a particular product. Please note, all shipping charges are extra.
GAO Tek's warranty for all products offered is limited solely to free-of-charge depot repair or replacement, at GAO’s discretion, of defective products within thirty (30) days of GAO’s shipment to Buyer.
You must have a return authorization number to service your product. Please contact support@gaotek.com to obtain an authorization number.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Why do I need to create an account?
Creating a login profile with GAO Tek Inc. Online Store allows you to shop faster, track the status of your current orders and review your previous orders. Creating an account will also allow our system to compute if any shipping fees or taxes are applicable based on your shipping address.
What information does GAO Tek Inc. collect and how is it used?
GAO Tek Inc. uses cookie on your hard drive to remember your previous order information, and enable us to automatically fill in certain order fields (e.g. first and last name, e-mail address, postal address). You may decide to refuse the cookie, but it will make your shopping experience less convenient.
Our web servers do not automatically recognize the domain or e-mail address of each visitor. We use your IP (Internet protocol) address to understand general information on site traffic trends (e.g. average number and length of page views, number of single page views, etc.) from standard server logs.
When you order a promotional offer through us, we may ask for your first and last name, e-mail address, and postal address. We use this information to keep a record of your order, confirm your order via e-mail, and contact you in case of a problem in order processing.
For your security, we do not place your credit card information on your cookie. You will be asked to re-enter payment information every time you order.
I forgot my password. How can I get it?
On the homepage, click on the 'Log In' section, click 'Forget your password', then enter your e-mail address and click 'Submit'. We will send you an e-mail message containing your new password.
Do I have to pay a sales tax?
For customers outside Canada, there is no sales tax. For customers in Canada outside of Ontario, there is an 7% GST, and for Ontario customers, there is an 7% GST and 8% PST.
How can I find a specific product?
From the home page, you can use the 'Advanced Search' function on the top left corner. You can also navigate through the website using the category listings on the left menu.
Can I get more information about a particular product?
Yes, for further information on the particular product, you may fill out the Inquiry form, send an email to us at sales@gaotek.com or call us at 416-292-0038 ext 222 / 221.
The item is damaged or defective. What can I do?
If the item was damaged during shipping, GAO Tek Inc. will repair the product or replace a defective product with an identical model or newer substitute at GAO's discretion.

Can I sell GAOTek products on my website?
Yes, you can sign up for the GAO Tek Inc. Affiliate Program to sell GAO Tek Inc. products on your own website. You will earn a commission for every product sold or recommended through you website.
