Toronto, Canada ā GAO Tek Inc. has launched this compact telecom line tester specially designed for line maintenance and construction. It combines the functions of a telephone set, a circuit performance tester and a security tester into a single compact unit.
This comprehensive telecom line tester, model A0080003, efficiently detects line errors and performs last number dialed and caller ID display, twisted pair as well as multi-line test testing. It has an insulation test range of 0 to 40 MĪ© at a maximum distance of 2 km. It provides FSK and DTMF which meets the GB/T 15279-94 standard. The line tester is fitted with a large high resolution LCD screen to display line voltage and insulation test results. It ships with a chargeable 9 V Ni-MH battery and features low voltage warning, auto power off and energy-saving design.
This compact telecom line tester belongs to GAO’s family of Telecom Line Testers. This line also includes communication cable fault tester which is widely used by technicians to accurately locate faults in the field, for acceptance and maintenance of lines, inspection of cable electrical characteristics and detection of faults such as breakage, misconnection, water absorption, and poor insulation, and small size cable fault locator which performs fault distance location, pulse testing, cable line fault testing, wave shape comparison and data record testing.
