4 Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch Converting Optical/Electrical Ethernet Signals

Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. is offering this highly stable 4 port Gigabit Ethernet switch. It has two 10/100/1000 M RJ45 ports and two 1000 M SFP sockets. End users are offered the flexibility to use a variety of SFP modules according to requirement such as 1000Base-T, 1000Base-SX and 1000Base-LX.

This 4 port Gigabit Ethernet switch, model C0330004, converts optical/electrical Ethernet signals between 10/100/1000M UTP ports and 1000M optical fiber ports.

With an auto negotiation function, it allows for UTP ports to auto 10/100/1000M and Full duplex/Half Duplex. It also allows for VLAN and QoS and provides broadcast storm protection. It has 12 G bandwidth which can be transmitted to achieve non-blocking wire-speed.

This 4 port Gigabit Ethernet switch provides IEEE802.3x flow control in full duplex mode and back pressure flow control in half duplex mode. Portable Dual Channel 100 MHz Digital Oscilloscope

1000 M Dual Port Media Converter for Mission-critical Networks

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. is offering its 1000 M dual port media converter which provides a 1000 M SFP port and a UTP port. The media converter takes advantage of intelligent connection technology to provide auto-negotiation thereby eliminating the need to manually configure or monitor settings. It is specially designed for mission-critical networks such as Telco/ISP backbones or enterprise networks.

This modular designed and hot-pluggable media converter, model C0330005, uses physical layer technology to implement media conversion compliant with IEEE802.3z and IEEE802.3ab standards. It supports two types of media network connections: 1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX. This media converter can conduct mutual conversion between 1000Base-T twisted pair electrical signals and 1000Base-SX/LX optical signals.

The media converter extends the transmission distance of a network from 100 m over copper wires to up to 80 km through optical fiber link. It provides transmission distances of up to 550 m on 50/125 μm MMF and 220 m on 62.5/125 μm MMF, while on SMF it offers a transmission distance of up to 80 km. It also allows for full-duplex and half-duplex transmission modes. In addition, its LED indicator lights fully monitor the convertor’s operational status making observation and diagnoses easy.

Digital Signal Level Meter Provides Easy Diagnoses of Network Faults

With a handheld design, high accuracy and automatic channel power test, the meter is intended for analog and digital television network construction and maintenance. Using spectrum and channel scanning functions, network faults can be easily diagnosed and analyzed using this single instrument.

This high-performance digital signal level meter, model A0N00010, operates over a wide frequency range of 5 to 870 MHz. It conducts measurements of digital-analog-mixed networks and also performs Tilt, C/N, voltage, MER, BER (bit error rate) and V /A tests. The meter accurately measures the average power of DVB-C digital signals, as well as, frequency power levels.
