Digital Function Generator Intended for Production Testing and Instrument Maintenance

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. is offering its digital function generator for production testing and instrument maintenance. It is capable of generating sine, triangle, square, and other waveforms with frequencies up to 5 MHz. This digital function generator, model A0230001, features variable DC offset control, high resolution, INT/EXT AM/FM modulation, LIN/LOG sweep mode and Gate Controlled Voltage (GCV) output for synchronization. It operates at a frequency range of 0.3 Hz to 3 MHz or 0.5 Hz to 5 MHz. It has an external voltage controlled frequency (VCF) function, duty cycle control with signal inversion capacity, two-step and variable attenuation and a built-in 6 digit counter with INT/EXT functions up to 100 MHz. 4-Channel Automotive Tester/Diagnostic Oscilloscope for Vehicle Diagnosis

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. is offering its 4-channel automotive tester/diagnostic oscilloscope which has a wide input voltage range from 8 to 36 V making it suitable for vehicle power tests.

This 4-channel automotive diagnostic oscilloscope, model A0E20001, has vehicle diagnosis functions; more than 20 kinds of automatic measurement functions, automatic cursor tracking measurements, as well as, built-in fast Fourier transform (FFT) spectrum analysis.It operates at 60 MHz and offers a maximum real-time sampling rate of up to 200 MS/s in single channel mode and 100 MS/s in dual channel mode. This oscilloscope provides a vertical resolution of 8 bits/channel and a time base range from 5 ns/div to 1000 s/div. It also has acquisition modes including real-time sampling and roll modes with a buffer size from 10 k to 16 M samples.

Digital Signal Level Meter Provides Easy Diagnoses of Network Faults

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. is offering its high performance digital signal level meter. With a handheld design, high accuracy and automatic channel power test, the meter is intended for analog and digital television network construction and maintenance. Using spectrum and channel scanning functions, network faults can be easily diagnosed and analyzed using this single instrument.

This high-performance digital signal level meter, model A0N00010, operates over a wide frequency range of 5 to 870 MHz. It conducts measurements of digital-analog-mixed networks and also performs Tilt, C/N, voltage, MER, BER (bit error rate) and V /A tests. The meter accurately measures the average power of DVB-C digital signals, as well as, frequency power levels.

The signal level meter provides a bandwidth of 0.28 to 9.99 MHz and a signal level measurement range of 30 to 120 dBμV at a level precision of ±1.5 dB. It is able to analyze QAM 32 64 128 256/ITU-TJ.83 Annex A/B/C modulated signals and provides a spectrum analysis span of 6.25, 12.5, 25 and 62.5 MHz. Handheld E1 Bit Error Rate (BER) Tester with Smart Menu Navigation

This compact E1 Bit Error Rate (BER) tester, model A0040007, features self-check and keyboard testing, extensive error and alarm generation, detection and indication. Radio Frequency (RF) Spectrum Analyzer for Field Technicians and Engineers

High Performance PCM Channel Analyzer Features Built-In Generator and Receiver

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. is offering its high performance PCM channel analyzer. It features a portable design, built-in direct current loop feed circuit and direct current loop hold circuit.

Integrating a generator and receiver into a single unit this PCM channel analyzer, model A0070001, performs tests for level, variation of gain with frequency, variation of gain with input level, quantizing distortion, idle channel noise, crosstalk, return loss and longitudinal conversion loss. It provides both auto and manual measurement modes and performs multi-task operations which allows for simultaneous testing and reviewing of previous records. The PCM channel analyzer also performs end to end and loop-back tests. This analyzer provides a signal frequency range of 100 to 4000 Hz and an output level range of 6 to -61 dBm0.

This PCM channel analyzer has a storage capacity of up to 60 groups of measurement results and configurations. It compares the measured results with built-in standard ITU-T tolerance masks and evaluates whether the results indicate a pass or fail. Test results are displayed graphically and can be uploaded to a computer for further analysis, filing and printing via embedded software which can be upgraded online.
