Multi-Function Battery Conductance Tester

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has launched its multi-function battery conductance tester. It is designed to accurately distinguish the health of each cell of a battery in just seconds.

This portable battery conductance tester, model A0E30001, performs high precision online testing. It tests the battery voltage and conductance online and displays and records multiple groups of batteries’ voltage, conductance, and connecting strip resistance. The battery conductance tester provides voltage test ranges of 0.000 to 20.000 V at a precision of ±0.2% rdg ± 6 dgt. It automatically switches the conductance test range between 100 to 19990 S at a precision of ±0.5% rdg ± 6 dgt. It stores up to 999 groups of battery parameters with a maximum of 500 cell batteries per group and the test data can be transmitted to a computer by SD card for further analysis. The tester boasts intelligent data analysis PC software to track the battery decay trend and send an alarm in advance of problems. In addition, it is powered by a 10.8 V, 2000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery.

Handheld Single Clamp Earth Tester

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has launched its handheld single clamp earth tester which simplifies ground loop testing and enables non-intrusive leakage current measurement. It is widely used in telecommunication system, electric power system and in the fields of resistance testing for earth resistance of various equipment and buildings.

This single clamp earth tester, model A0E10001, measures the integrated value of ground resistance and also tests the leakage current of ground wires. It features easy operation, high accuracy measurement and anti-interference. This earth tester allows a wide ground loop resistance range from 0.01 to 1000 Ω with a resolution of 0.001 to 20 Ω at the highest accuracy of ±(1% + 0.01 Ω). The tester goes beyond the limitations of traditional methods of earth resistance testing as it does not require the disconnection of the ground wire. Earth ground loop testing and continuity testing can be completed without breaking the circuit. In addition, it also features automatic self- calibration ensuring correct measurement every time.

4-Channel Automotive Diagnostic Oscilloscope

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has launched its 4-channel automotive diagnostic oscilloscope which has a wide input voltage range from 8 to 36 V making it suitable for vehicle power tests. It has vehicle diagnosis functions, more than 20 kinds of automatic measurement functions, automatic cursor tracking measurements, PASS/FAIL check and fast Fourier transform (FFT) spectrum analysis.

This 4-channel automotive diagnostic oscilloscope, model A0E20001, operates at 60 MHz and supports EXT trigger. It provides advanced trigger types including edge trigger and pulse trigger and includes such trigger modes as auto, normal and single. The diagnostic scope offers a maximum real-time sampling rate of up to 200 MS/s in single channel mode and 100 MS/s in dual channel modes. It provides a vertical resolution of 8 bits/channel and a time base range of 5 ns/div to 1000 s/div. It also has real-time sampling and roll acquisition modes with a buffer size from 10 k to 16 M samples. It displays such measurements as Vpp, Vmax, Vmin, Vmean, Vrms, Vamp, Vtop, Vbase, Vmid, positive overshoot, negative overshoot, cycle mean, cycle RMS, period, frequency, positive pulse width, negative pulse width, rise time (10%~90%), fall time (10% to 90%), positive duty cycle and negative duty cycle. It has addition, subtraction, multiplication and FFT mathematic functions. Additionally, it is compatible with USB 2.0 and is fully plug and play and requires no external power. These features make it ideal for use either in the workshop or on the road to test and measure virtually all of the electrical and electronic components and systems in motor vehicles.

10/100/1000M Media Converter

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has launched its 10/100/1000M media converter used in backbone network transmission and is primarily used for Gigabit Ethernet devices links.

This 10/100/1000M media converter operates at a speed of 1000 Mb/s over both optical and electric channels. It supports single-mode and multi-mode fibers with a transmission distance of up to 80 km in single-mode fiber and 550 m in multi-mode fiber. It also extends the transmission distance through its photoelectric conversion network. The media converter has two types of available network connections, namely 10/100/1000M Base-T Gigabit Ethernet UTP port and 1000Base-Sx/LX Gigabit Ethernet Fiber port. It uses 802.3x flow control for full-duplex ports and back-pressure flow control for half-duplex ports. It is compliant with RoHS standard and provides auto mode on the TP port. The converter offers comprehensive fiber connections including SC, BiDi and LC. It transforms the transmission media of an Ethernet signal via CAT5 to optical fiber with typical length of 100 meter. In addition, it has passed FCC Part 15 Class A and CE certifications.

This 10/100/1000M media converter belongs to GAO’s family of 10/100/1000M. 4 Channel HDD Digital Video Recorder

Digital Function Generator

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has launched its digital function generator which is a powerful tool used to generate electrical waveforms. It can be used in such applications as audio response testing, vibration testing, servo system evaluation and ultra sound applications.

This professional digital function generator, model A0230001, operates at a frequency range of 0.3 Hz to 3 MHz or 0.5 Hz to 5 MHz. It contains an attenuator, offers various means of output waveform modulation and has the ability to automatically and repetitively sweep the frequency of the output waveform between two operator-determined limits. The function generator features variable DC offset control, high resolution, INT/EXT AM/FM modulation, LIN/LOG sweep mode and GCV output for synchronization. Color Video Quad Processor

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has launched its color video quad processor which is used as a video processor for VCR surveillance systems or as a video signal processor that allows the user to switch video screen modes using the wireless remote control. 60 MHz USB PC-Based Oscilloscope

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has launched its 60 MHz USB PC-based oscilloscope which combines the functions of an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, waveform recorder, signal generator, voltmeter and cymometer.
