Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has launched its parallel data acquisition card which is intended for transient signal recording in engineering, refined frequency synthesis, multi-channel parallel acquisition and time-phase-sensitive acquisition. The card has a maximum A/D sampling rate of 20 MS/s and is an ideal solution for the formation of multi-channel virtual instrument systems.
This parallel data acquisition card, model PCI2712S, features high accuracy of measurement with phase consistency. It has many triggering sources including via software, manual, internal and external triggering. Four high speed ADC and four independent programmable gain amplifiers and a precise attenuation filter network are integrated into the card to achieve a voltage signal acquisition range of ±1 V or ±10 V. It offers a maximum sampling depth of up to 16 M per channel and refined sampling rate from 100 to 20 MS/s. This parallel data acquisition card uses a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) facilitating high integrity, reliable signal sampling. In addition, an acquisition controller (DAQCore) is dynamically downloaded from the PCI bus interface when needed.
This parallel data acquisition card belongs to GAO’s family of PCI Data Acquisition Cards. A more advanced and higher-end model in this line is the PCI4712AS which provides a maximum A/D sampling rate of 50 Msps, and lower-end model in the family is PCI4712AS2. This family provides ideal solution for the formation of multi-channel virtual instrument systems.
