Portable Optical Power Meter

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has launched its optical power meter which is used for measuring continuous optical signals and is widely used in optics construction and maintenance, optical communication, optical sensor, and optical fiber CATV systems. This optical power meter is an ideal solution for optical cable construction sites or labs, optical fiber attenuation measurements and optical fiber communication systems.

This portable optical power meter, model 4E, features automatic frequency range switching, automatic reset and shutdown, self-calibration, low battery indication, automatic frequency identification function and high measurement accuracy. The meter uploads data via RS232 interface. This optical power meter offers a switchable working wavelength range from 850nm to 1700 nm together with optional modulation frequencies including 270 Hz, 1 kHz and 2 kHz to meet various requirements. The meter has memory capacity to store 1000 groups of data items and offers FC, ST and SC connectors for selection.

Logic Analyzer Features Simultaneously Observations

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has released its highly reliable logic analyzer which has a number of input channels and is capable of simultaneously observing a sizeable amount of data and data flow direction control information. The high performance logic analyzer offers a variety of digital information capture functions, a large memory capacity, triggers and triggered procedures. The analyzer is designed for capturing narrow pulse interference and the response of digital systems for debugging and verification.

The logic analyzer, model 5034, identifies error conditions and locates faults in the source code. Its intuitive and flexible display returns dynamic analysis results in binary, decimal, hexadecimal or ASCII format to facilitate debugging. The advanced logic analyzer includes a software CD with demo code in VC, CVI, VB, and LABVIEW. It also has a minimum time resolution of 2 ns, an input voltage range of -60 V to 60 V and a logic threshold range from -6 V to 6 V. It runs under Windows 2000 to Vista. Additionally, supported inputs include TTL, LVTTL, CMOS, LVCOMS, ECL, PECL and EIA.

High-Performance Telephone Cable Fault Locator

This telephone cable fault locator, model 98, features a large backlit LCD screen, low voltage warning and an automatic power off design. It performs measurement at a distance of up to 15 km with a dead zone test distance of less than 1 m.
