Cable Fault Locator Provides an Intuitive Electronic Map

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. has released its CATV cable fault locator utilizing Time Domain Reflection (TDR) technology to display the TDR picture on its LCD screen. It is intended to find cable faults such as short circuits, open circuits and high resistance joints and to show the exact distance of the fault. This rugged fault locator is widely used to test underground cables to discover impedance break points in HFC systems then locate and reveal the cable damages, tie-in dampness, and terminal impedance failure.

The powerful cable fault locator, model 6130, analyzes the status of the cable with its advanced analysis software. It tests cables of 25, 50, 75ohm and 100Ohm impedance at a long measurement range from 15m to 2000m. This portable cable fault locator provides an intuitive electronic map relevant to time domain picture so that faults can be detected easily. In additional, it can be connected to a PC for file upload and data analysis.

Super Signal Level Meter with Multiple Features

It measures and displays the amplitude at a specific frequency or any carrier as defined by the user, which provides great flexibility. Highly Accurate Fiber Optic Identifier Identifies Multiple Signal Frequencies

Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc has released its highly accurate optical fiber identifier, which is specifically designed for use in the construction and maintenance of optical fiber communication and optical fiber CATV systems. The portable fiber identifier, model 6X, operates over the wavelength range of 800nm to 1700nm. It effectively distinguishes optical signals in fibers with service running while avoiding undo pressure on the optic fibers. The unit identifies multiple signal frequencies such as 270Hz, 1kHz and 2kHz and also identifies H 0.25 bare fiber and H0.9 / H2.5 /H3.0 tail fiber. It works continuously for at least eight hours on a full charge. This portable fiber optic identifier has LED status indicators for positive/negative signal, transmission direction, frequency, intensity and low power.

D1 Professional DVR Card

This user-friendly digital video recorder card also uses digital watermark technology to ensure that a video file is not falsified. The application of H.264 Main Profile allows it to maintain a low bandwidth video compression stream while offering better image quality upon restoration than other compression schemes.
